Day 1: Essaouira – Marrakech
Start your Essaouira desert tour 7 days with breakfast in your riad or hotel. Tour Essaouira before arriving in Marrakech. Essaouira is a popular coastal town known for its fishing port, wooden fishing boats, and dining options. Explore its Skala du Port, ramparts, medina, art galleries, and Jewish Synagogue. Accommodations and dinner will be in a hotel or riad in Marrakech.
Day 2: Marrakech – Casablanca
Have breakfast in your hotel before departing to Casablanca. Enjoy free time to explore this largest city and financial center of Morocco. Accommodations and dinner will be in a riad or hotel in Casablanca.
Day 3: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez
After breakfast, tour Casablanca and visit the Hassan II Mosque. Continue to the Imperial city of Meknes, visit El Hedim Square, Mausoleum of Sultan Moulay Ismail, and Old Medina. Stop at the Roman Ruins of Volubilis. Accommodations and dinner will be in your hotel in Fez.
Day 4: Fez – city tour
After breakfast, a local guide will take you on a tour of the oldest Imperial City, visiting the Mellah, Medina, Kairaouine Mosque, the University of al-Karaouine, BouInania Medrasa, and Chouara Tannery. Accommodations and dinner will be in your hotel/riad in Fez.
Day 5: Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Erfoud – Merzouga
Leave Fez for Ifrane, known as “The Little Switzerland of Morocco”. Stop at the Cedar Forest of Azrou to see the Barbary Apes. Continue to Merzouga via ziz valley and Erfoud. Change to camels and trek to the camping site. Accommodations will be in a Nomad Berber Tent with a campfire, music, and dinner.
Day 6: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todgha Gorges – Dades
After a sunrise breakfast, break camp and continue the tour. Visit Todgha Gorges and Dades. Accommodations and dinner will be at a hotel or riad.
Day 7: Dades – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast, we’ll travel to Ouarzazate, visiting the Kasbah Taourirte and Atlas & CLA Studios (the “Hollywood of Africa”). We’ll then see the UNESCO world heritage site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, stopping for lunch at a Berber village. Finally, we’ll arrive in Marrakech and be dropped off at your hotel, ending our Essaouira desert tour 7 days . End of our services
