Desert tour marrakech 15 days

Day 1: Marrakech to Essaouira

Starting the Desert tour marrakech 15 days , we’ll leave after breakfast and head to Essaouira via Chichaoua. Along the way, we’ll visit a women’s cooperative for argan oil before checking in at the hotel. In Essaouira, you’ll get to explore the Skala du Port, the Wood Souk, and the ramparts from the Portuguese era. The town is famous for its fishing port, so we’ll suggest a lunch close to the port. Accommodations and dinner for the night will be at a hotel or Riad.

Day 2: Marrakech – Ait benhaddou – Ouarzazate –  Dades Valley

After breakfast, we’ll depart Marrakech to visit the UNESCO world heritage site of Ait Ben Hadou via Tizi Ntichka pass. In Ait Benhaddou, you’ll enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant. We’ll then continue to Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah Taourirte and the Atlas & CLA Studios, also known as “The Hollywood of Africa.” Afterward, we’ll drive to Boumalne Dades via the Valley of Roses before checking in at a hotel in the Dades Valley for the night.

Day 3: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga

Today, we’ll leave early for another journey, traveling toward the Sahara Desert. We’ll drive along the road of 1000 Kasbahs, stopping at Todgha Gorges and visiting Berber villages along the way. We’ll then head to Erfoud to see the workers of fossils and the market of dates before reaching Merzouga, where you’ll spend the night in a hotel.

Day 4: Merzouga – Khamlia – Rissani – Camp in Erg Chebbi

After breakfast, you’ll explore the area of Erg Chebbi, visiting Khamlia to listen to Gnawa music, deserted mines, the Oasis of Palm Trees, and the town of Rissani. You’ll then enjoy a traditional Moroccan pizza for lunch before returning to Merzouga for a camel ride to a desert camp for the night under the stars.

Day 5: Merzouga to Erfoud

After breakfast, we’ll leave the camp and switch to a 4×4 for the drive to Erfoud via Boutcharafine. You’ll visit an old site of fossils and a Berber village before having lunch and taking a two-hour walk to discover the largest oasis of Tizimi. Dinner and accommodations will be at the hotel.

Day 6:  Merzouga – Erfoud – Ziz valley – Midelt

In morning after breakfast, we continue our Desert tour marrakech 15 days , we’ll leave Erfoud and head to Midelt, stopping at Ziz Valley to see the largest grove of dates. We’ll continue on to Errachidia and visit a small Berber village before reaching Midelt, known for its mining and agriculture. Accommodations and dinner for the night will be at a Riad or hotel.

Day 7: Midelt – Cedar Forest – Meknes

Start your day with a delicious breakfast in your hotel in Midelt, then embark on a journey to Meknes, one of the four imperial cities in Morocco. On the way, we will make a stop at Cedar Gouraud Forest in Azrou, located in the Middle Atlas Mountain Range. This forest is a spectacular contrast to the Sahara Desert and is home to the endangered Barbary Apes. You will be able to get up close and personal with these monkeys, making for great photo opportunities. Your dinner will be served at your hotel or riad.

Day 8: Meknes – Moulay Idriss – Meknes

After breakfast, we will start our tour of Meknes by visiting El Hedim Square and the Mausoleum of Sultan Moulay Ismail in the Old Medina. Don’t miss the chance to admire the Bab Mansour, a famous gateway known for its ornate decoration, inscriptions, and marble columns.

Next, we will visit Moulay Idriss, considered the holiest city in Morocco. You will see the Mausoleum of Idriss I, a sacred site open only to Muslims. After lunch in Meknes, we will visit the Roman Ruins of Volubilis, once a thriving city that was largely destroyed by an earthquake in the mid-18th century. The Arch of Caracalla is one of the most famous sights in Volubilis. Your accommodation and dinner will be back at your hotel or riad.

Day 9: Meknes – Larache – Asilah

After breakfast, we will depart from Meknes and head towards Asilah. On the way, we will stop in Larache, a laid-back town popular with Moroccan tourists who come to enjoy the beaches along the Loukkos River. Don’t miss the Lixus Roman Ruins, Port Lixus, Plaza de Espana, and Torres Park.

Asilah is a coastal town south of Tangier known for its well-preserved 15th-century ramparts and gates built by Portuguese colonial forces. The old town, or medina, is an art hub, famous for its murals and the annual Moussem Culturel International d’Asilah festival. You will stay and dine in a hotel or riad.

Day 10: Asilah

After breakfast, you will have the day to explore Asilah on your own. Your dinner will be served at your hotel or riad.

Day 11: Asilah – Tangier

After breakfast, we will depart from Asilah and travel to Tangier, a major city located on the Maghreb coast. There are many landmarks worth visiting in Tangier, including the Strait of Gibraltar, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. Your accommodation and dinner will be in a hotel or riad.

Day 12: Tangier – Tétouan – Chefchaouen

In Tétouan, meaning “the eyes” in Berber, you will visit the medina, where you can see artisans practicing their crafts, such as weaving, jewelry-making, and leatherwork. You will also see the Kasbah, the Royal Palace, Tétouan Church, and Mosque.

Day 13: Chefchaouen

After breakfast, you will have a free day to explore Chefchaouen, known as the blue city. Stroll through the white and blue-washed streets of the medina, admire the Rif Mountains, and shop for unique native handicrafts. Your dinner will be served at your hotel or riad.

Day 14: Chefchaouen

After breakfast in your hotel, you will have this day to explore the city on your own. Also, This nice blue city is known for its traditional buildings. Enjoy a walk to explore the white and blue-washed walls of the medina and the markets that offer some unique native handicrafts. Chefchaouen is a fantastic destination for photography with its wonderful views of the Rif Mountains. Your dinner will be in your riad/hotel this evening.

Day 15: Chefchaouen – Fez

After breakfast in your raid/hotel, we will transfer you to Fez. Once you arrive at Fez you will be dropped off at your hotel. End of Desert tour marrakech 15 days . End our services.
