Then we head to Azrou, where you’ll see the Cedar Forest and its wild Barbary Apes. After breakfast, we’ll tour the area of Erg Chebbi and visit Khamlia village and its biggest dunes. You’ll also see a Berber home, deserted mines, an Oasis of Palm Trees, and the charming town of Rissani. After lunch, we’ll return to the hotel in Merzouga to prepare for a camel ride to the desert camp, where you’ll spend the night under the stars.
After a sunrise breakfast, we’ll break camp and return to the hotel to shower and have breakfast. We’ll then visit the canal of irrigation in Jorf, the Todgha Gorges, the valley of roses, and the cooperative of women that produces rose products. Accommodations and dinner will be in a hotel at Dades Valley.
After breakfast, we’ll travel to Ouarzazate, visiting the Kasbah Taourirte and Atlas & CLA Studios (the “Hollywood of Africa”). We’ll then see the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, stopping for lunch at a Berber village.
